Building International Shipping Into One Confident Step

ParcelKart is a multi-carrier platform for shipping parcels and documents internationally from India. Apro IT Solutions designed and built its website, its customer booking experience and the internal tools used to run pricing, verification and operations.

International shipping involves several interconnected activities. Customers have to give accurate shipment details, understand carrier-specific pricing, meet identity-verification requirements and prepare customs paperwork. Comparing couriers is hard, because each one applies its own pricing structure, weight rules, destination restrictions and additional charges.

GOAL

The business running the service has its own problem: maintaining carrier rate cards, applying margins, managing customer credit, overseeing pickups and delays, and handling cancellations and refunds.

Bring customer-facing shipping and the operational processes behind it into one coordinated system.

Compare carriers transparently;Guide shipment creation step by step;Make customs paperwork achievable;Verify customers before booking;Centralise rate cards and margins;Give operations tools for pickups and exceptions;Support wallet and credit payment;Provide administrative reporting and audit records

Turning Complexity Into Confidence

Without centralised processes, these activities take significant manual coordination and create room for inconsistent pricing, incomplete paperwork and operational delays. Most of them also change the price of a shipment, so none of them can be designed in isolation.

PROCESS

A structured design-and-build process, carrying one system from brand through to the operations desk.

  1. 01 · Identity & Brand

We built a brand that signals secure, modern and easy to deal with a confident wordmark, a parcel-and-route mark, and a blue-and-white system that reads as a platform, not a traditional courier.

  2. 02 · Discovery

We mapped four end-to-end flows before interface design began administrator entry, the refund journey, day-to-day operations and multi-carrier comparison including the points where a shipment can be held, repriced or returned.

  3. 03 · Website

We designed the site as a single argument: the problem, the resolution, how carriers are chosen, the shipping journey, visibility and customer stories with rate, track and ship reachable from anywhere on the page.

  4. 04 · Admin Dashboard

We designed the back office around how the business runs: rate cards and margins, customer verification, shipments and exceptions, refunds, reporting and audit records.

  5. 05 · Customer Portal

We designed the booking journey sender and receiver details, parcel and item information, declared values and purpose, customs documents, carrier comparison, payment and tracking.

Elements

The design system underpins everything. Colour foundations carry their full interaction states, and spacing, radius and typography are held as tokens rather than values repeated per screen. Because the website, the customer portal and the admin dashboard are built from the same system, a change to the foundations moves through all three, and the product looks like one thing rather than three.

Our Work

We designed and built Parcelkart from scratch brand, marketing website, admin dashboard and customer portal on one coherent system.

Selling price is calculated in one place and never recomposed in the interface, so a quoted price and an invoiced price cannot drift apart. Booking a shipment is idempotent, so a retried request can never produce a duplicate docket or a duplicate invoice.

Shipping without the complexity made real, from pickup to delivered.
