Venus Gold runs monthly gold savings schemes for customers across the UAE. Members used to follow their scheme through in-store visits and paper records — never quite sure what their gold was worth today.

Venus needed one trusted place to save, pay, earn and withdraw — an app that makes every gram visible and every payment count, without losing the warmth of a family jeweller.

From Passbook to Pocket

Working with the Venus team, we mapped every moment a member touches their scheme and gave each one a single, confident screen: check today's rate, pay an instalment and see the grams it buys, then manage the scheme itself — pay or withdraw — from one place.

Designing for Everyday Clarity

The home screen answers one question first: how much gold do I have today? Weight leads, live 24K and 22K rates follow, and scheme status sits one glance below. Everything else is a tap away.

An Ecosystem Around the Scheme

Schemes, payments, loyalty points, bonus plans and withdrawals connect into one structure. Each part feeds the next — every payment adds grams, every purchase adds points — so members always know where they stand.

From Scheme to Doorstep

Withdrawing gold takes four calm steps: choose a piece your balance covers (anything out of reach shows exactly how short you are), pick the nearest branch, review what leaves your scheme, then follow the request to collection.

  • Choose item: a 22K bangle the balance covers, a 22K chain, and a 24K necklace marked 4.73 g short
  • Pick a store: a map of nearby branches and the Deira, Karama and Sharjah branches with distances
  • Review request: the 22K bangle, total deducted 8.042 g and the balance after, with a note that approval is final
  • Request GIS-W-0044: placed, approved and dispatched, arriving Thursday 12 September
  • Loyalty points: a balance of 1,000 points earned from purchases and scheme activity, with the points history
  • Notifications: the gold rate updated, a new festive scheme open for enrolment, and a monthly instalment received

Payments Without the Paperwork

Instalments are paid in-app with live conversion — enter an amount and see exactly how many grams it buys at today's rate. Successful, pending and failed payments each get a calm screen with a clear next step.

Every Gram Accounted For

Each instalment gets a dated receipt. Each withdrawal shows the exact grams leaving the scheme before you confirm. And the balance on Home always reflects both.
